About the role

This is a parental leave cover contract of 4-5 months duration on a part-time basis (2.5-3 days per week).
Our Learning & Development Director is taking parental leave and we are looking for someone to lead our L&D offering in their absence. This role is an integral part of the wider People & Culture team across Publicis Groupe ANZ. We are a connected, high performing team, always looking for new approaches to create the best environment for our people and success for our business.

You’ll be responsible for leading and implementing our L&D strategy in order to build capability across our teams and help our people to grow and develop. As our L&D lead you’ll actively promote our learning philosophy and vision, identify training needs and priorities along with facilitating/coordinating key programs that produce measurable returns.
As our go to L&D Lead you will be a true relationship builder and creative thinker. You will be interested in the latest trends and techniques to engage audiences and are passionate about continually evolving our curriculum and content.
Reporting to the Chief Talent Officer Publicis Groupe ANZ

Key Responsibilities

Primary contact and responsibility for L&D function across the Groupe.
Partner with and build strong relationships with the CTO, People & Culture Business Partners and agency leadership.
Manage the L&D budget, reconciling and tracking.
Deliver internal training modules.
Management of the local Learning & Development budget.
Consult with stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered.
Coordinate with external or internal specialist facilitators to run targeted modules.
Vet external consultants/ facilitators to ensure their delivery is of high quality and tailored to meet our needs and compliments the existing platform.
Conduct “Train-the-Trainer” with internal specialist facilitator or P&C representatives as required.
Ensure all participants provide feedback evaluations in the training and make amendments to style, approach, content based on the feedback received.
Address and provide assistance with any Learning Development queries from managers or P&C representatives on their internal training programs, including induction training, compliance training, graduate programs and career develop plans/paths.
Keep abreast of latest trends in Learning and Development area e.g. e-learning techniques to incorporate into our approach and content.
Oversee the coordination of all Publicis Groupe Learning and Development programs and training metrics.
Report on L&D metrics for the Publicis Groupe Executive and Agency Leadership teams.
Consider cost of planned programs and keep the programs within approved budget parameters.

About you

4+ years’ experience in a similar role (overseeing L&D strategy, creating and facilitating programs, partnering with stakeholders).
Strong Project management skills.
A background in Marketing, Communication, Media, Advertising industry tech (preferred).
Proven experience in designing and implementing L&D programs nationally .
Comfortable conducting TNA’s, developing, delivering & evaluating training investment .
Experience managing a L&D budget.
Passionate and engaging facilitator (you know how to hold an audience).
Project management (you know how to keep lots of balls in the air at the one time).
A master of communication and stakeholder management.
A passionate, team player who truly believes in collaboration.
