The Unified Endpoint Management Technical Specialist is a hands-on technical role that is accountable for designing, delivering and running endpoint Services. The Technical Specialist will carry out maintenance, monitoring and support to ensure the stable operations of the organisations Windows, Mac and mobile environment.


  • Responsible for performing operational support that meets agreed Business Service Levels Agreements.
  • Monitors, manages and improves against key measures, metrics and service levels set for Service Management (Incident, Request, Problem, Change)
  • Accountable to ensure the production environment is protected through change control, preventing any disruption to services outside of agreed maintenance windows.
  • Supports planning, risk analysis and delivery of upgrades, patches, maintenance releases and all major product enhancement releases to IT infrastructure components to minimise the impact to business.
  • Provide investigation, support and resolution for applications and technical tools.
  • Provide continuous improvement of services processes, procedures and support operational excellence.
  • Schedules periodic backup processes and ensure it's incorporated into the enterprise backup scheme.
  • Identifies key issues, risk elements, and escalates promptly to the relevant escalation point.
  • Ensure high level of documentation and knowledge sharing around workspace platforms and wider organisational teams.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in designing and deploying solutions with a modern management platform (VMWare Workspace ONE/
  • Microsoft inTune etc)
  • Expert knowledge of Windows 10 SOE and application
  • packaging
  • Experience with Microsoft Auto Pilot deployment
  • Experience managing Apple iOS, Android and Apple
  • MacOS.
  • Experience with SCCM, AD, Group Policy and Office365
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager (DEP, VPP) and Android Enterprise / Samsung KNOX.
  • Understanding of Single Sign On technologies including Kerberos, SAML and OAuth
  • Skill in preparing written communications and materials such as knowledge base articles and technical instructional documents
  • Excellent planning and communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skill and ability to influence outcomes
  • Ability to interpret and provide input to complex IT designs
  • Has a strong working knowledge of IT security principals
  • VMware and AWS experience
