City fringe based business development focused sales representative opportunity selling into the commercial electrical and mechanical contracting construction industry.

The Opportunity

As Sales Representative you will drive growth into new and existing markets. There is a high degree of autonomy in this role and you will work closely with the Directors to build the framework to expand their share of the South Australian and interstate market.

This is an opportunity to develop and grow your sales capability, working with a Sales Coach to refine your approach and close more deals.

You will:

  • Maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with existing clients to maximise business opportunity
  • Enhance and add value to existing relationships 
  • Implement the sales plan to increase new business
  • Identify and build relationships with potential new customers
  • Develop customer specific solutions and proposals to meet their needs
  • Identify opportunities for marketing activities to achieve an increase in sales
  • Follow up sales to monitor customer satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends and develop customer driven solutions that meet new and emerging needs

About You

Developing mutually beneficial solutions for customers is paramount your sales process will start with a desire to understand their needs and include creativity to find a way to meet those needs.

You have already worked in a B2B sales role and will be looking to step up to the next level.

You will bring 

  • Demonstrated ability to develop new and existing client relationships
  • An established network within the commercial construction sector
  • Driven to achieve a sale and motivated to exceed targets
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service 
  • Exceptional time management and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines

You will also have intermediate MS Office skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to effectively use CRM software.

Experience with business critical equipment such as backup power is highly desirable.
