Environmental Scientist, Contaminated Sites

ALRA - Melbourne, VIC

Source: uWorkin

Environmental Scientist / Project Manager in Contaminated Sites for an Australian Consultancy known for their technical excellence and being the ‘go to’ firm for complex, highly technical projects.

So whilst they work on the same sorts of projects as other firms, (Infrastructure, Water, Waste, Petroleum etc), they win the parts of the projects other firms aren’t equipped for. The resulting work is high-end: technically challenging and highly complex.

The Role:

  • Interesting drilling work, working with guru hydrogeologists & an EPA Auditor
  • Plenty of risk and legal – 70% of current workload is via lawyers
  • PFAS, and PFAS infrastructure.

Who they’re looking for:

  • 2-4 year CLM consulting experience.
  • Field-competent or very early Project Manager looking for more complex projects.
  • They also offer educational support to help you achieve your academic goals.

The firm likes to ensure that they transform their staff into not just good technical operators but also good consultants, growing trusted advisors for their clients & not just box tickers. This is an environment that values knowledge, expertise and is always stretching the limits. If this is what you value, then culturally, you will fit right in.

Salary circa $75,000 - $100,000 based on experience.

If you're interested in applying or would like further information, please feel free to give me a call, email or text. Your approach will be held confidentially.
