Position Description:
A great opportunity for a driven and energetic Workplace Services Officer. The Workplace Services Officer will work onsite with the team in the Melbourne CBD office to ensure safe operations of the site, and provide on-site support to ensure effective day to day operations. The Workplace Services officer will undertake a variety of tasks to assist the office in managing its return to work strategy to bring employees back in a safe and effective way

This position is with a Federal Government Department in the Melbourne Office.

  • Support for managing traffic at foyers, at entry, near lifts, and stairwells
  • Identify hotspot areas, work points where physical distancing is impacted
  • WHS type social distancing monitoring in common areas
  • Help to identify opportunities to improve hygiene
  • Other tasks to support a safe and effective return to work strategy as determined
Skills and attributes:
Our client is seeking a suitably qualified applicant who is able to demonstrate their ability to:

  • Have proven experience in customer service.
  • Is client-focused with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret policy and advise staff of best practice relating to guidelines and policy.

  • Is capable of working within a team under a moderate level of supervision.
  • Exercises good judgment and seeks out opportunities for process improvement.
  • Able to influence and interact with a range of stakeholders in a calm, reasonable, and polite manner
