The Company:
This company has been operating for over 10 years, supplying natural health supplements and food for animals.

Having started off making these products in their own kitchen, this company is now selling in over 700 stores and are growing by over 50% year on year.

They have had number one products in stores and are now looking for an experienced sales person who has not only managed accounts but also people.

The Role:
This role would suit a strategic Account Manager or BDM who has worked in the FMCG space who has managed Client relationships and dealt with partnerships, who understands the nuances of this industry to be successful.

You will come into the role with a warm portfolio of relationships to manage with no expectation of product knowledge as you will be provided with the basics.

Some if your responsibilities will include:
Dealing with pricing.
Contacting distributers, having high level conversations with important contacts of various chains.
Putting marketing schedules together.
Entering data into excel.
Managing + nurturing existing accounts.
Negotiating on behalf of the company.

What will it take to be successful in this role?

Proven ability to successfully manage and nurture existing accounts.
Proven ability to develop a business and build it up.
Strong negotiation skills.
An engaging, warm and friendly personality both over the phone and in person.
MUST have previous experience working within the FMCG industry.
MUST have sold into a wholesaler environment in retail.
At least 2-3 years working in an Account Management/BDM role.
Previous successful experience people managing is ESSENTIAL.
Knowing how to use excel data spreadsheets extensively is essential.
Strong sales skills and being advanced in dealing with high end clientele is essential.
