Your Role
The Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Policy Adviser to join the Industry Coordination and Recovery Group. The Principal Policy Adviser, Officer of the Deputy Secretary provides high level strategic support and advice to the Deputy Secretary, Industry Coordination and Recovery (ICR). The position will collaborate across ICR, with departmental executives and other senior staff, the Minister's office, relevant policy and program areas, and key external stakeholders to inform strategic options to achieve outcomes aligned to the priorities of the office and broader government policy.
The role requires exceptional leadership and project management skills, highly developed conceptual and analytic skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
