  • As part of our diverse teams based in King Street, you will be responsible for the management of Whole Person Impairment matters and assisting Case Management Specialists with processes and their responsibilities on the claim.
  • This opportunity is a 9-month contract.

Your Responsibilities
  • Adopt a service-orientated approach with all customers - the worker, the employer, permanent impairment assessors, applicant solicitors, and internal staff
  • Manage a portfolio of Whole Person Impairment claims, ensuring adherence to legislated time frames and SIRA Standards of Practice.
  • Provide Whole Person Impairment advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers, providers and internal staff
  • Assist the worker and employer with the Whole Person Impairment process and providing support in the completion of relevant documents to ensure timely WPI determination
  • Work with our Legal team and claims team if WPI disputes arise.

About You
  • Knowledge of the relevant worker’s compensation legislation and regulations.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Negotiation and influencing
  • Ability to earn trust in relationships with others by consistently demonstrating integrity and professional competence
  • Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and accurately
  • Effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to wor
  • Resilient, driven and a proactive team player who is passionate about assisting clients with the best RTW strategies.
  • Prior experience managing whole person impairment claims.
