The Technical Services department provide specialised services to a wide range of stakeholders. We pride ourselves in being experts in our field, supporting our customers with Whole Person Impairment, Legal, Third Party Recoveries, Supporting Independence, and Transition claims knowledge and support. Our focus is on the customer, delivering outcomes quickly and supporting other departments to do their job well. This is our why and how we help people get their lives back.

The main aim of this role in the WPI team is to manage all aspects of the whole person impairment process and determining lump sum entitlements proactively and effectively within the SA legislation and compliance guidelines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage all Permanent Impairment claims in accordance with applicable guidelines, procedures, and timeframes.
  • Make decisions regarding entitlements to lump sums.
  • Provide legal and technical support to strategically disputes and litigation in WPI claims.
  • Demonstrate effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as measured by feedback from key stakeholders and outcomes on claims.
  • Assist the worker and employer with the Whole Person Impairment process and providing support in the completion of relevant documents.


About You
  • Knowledge of the relevant worker’s compensation legislation and regulations advantageous
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology

  • Effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to work
