THE ORGANISATION

Our client is an Australian owned and operated family business which manufactures and supplies a wide range of lighter gauge, roll formed steel products and systems, used primarily in the construction industry.

In this position, you will work as the Customer Support Officer that focuses on your clients needs. You will be able to use your relationship building and forward planning skills to work with clients and make sure they are always one step ahead of all projects.

THE ROLE

As the Customer Support Officer you will be required to:
Ensure all client orders are processed on-time
Ensure all incoming phone calls are attended to in a prompt and courteous manner
Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal departments
Meet individual and team KPIs
Work with customer service team leader to ensure customer promise is being delivered
Follow up on dispatch of client orders
Respond to customer emails in a professional manner
Create and maintain records in the database
Comply with all company procedures and policies including WHS
YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will possess the following experience and skills:

Previous experience in a busy multi-functional front-line customer service role
Data entry and strong, accurate typing skills
Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Sound computing skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
SALARY / RATE
$60K - $65K+ Super
