The Deal Structuring & Execution team provides a differentiated specialised service proposition for larger, more complex and sophisticated customers.

In this role, you will partner with the High Growth & Corporate Health team to support customers in the Corporate Health sector, utilising industry and credit expertise to drive business growth and efficiently deliver an excellent experience for customers. You will be technically adept at running complex corporate credit processes, and passionate about growing and building relationships with customers, whilst also balancing risk and delivering the right outcomes. As a senior member of the Corporate Health DSE team, you will role model our values and behaviours, and leverage your deep understanding of internal and external stakeholders, the local market and broader industry trends.

Day to day you will

  • Lead structuring of transactions, efficient preparation credit submissions and recommendations on transactions to credit, with a focus on new to bank and larger more complex increase transactions;
  • Support transaction execution through due diligence, credit and legal documentation;
  • Support originating and prospecting activities;
  • Utilise product and sector experience to contribute in problems solving for the portfolio, clients and potential clients;
  • Identify areas of development for team members to support high performance of the team;
  • Deepening the industry speciality knowledge of DSE, including coordinating training sessions, arranging Deal Reviews, facilitating working groups for Healthcare sub-sectors, maintaining updated industry papers and benchmarking;
  • Responsibility for managing the ongoing monitoring of the risk profile and compliance requirements of client portfolio, ensuring portfolio hygiene is to an excellent standard; and
  • Maintain an ongoing awareness of NAB’s credit policies, credit and market risk and internal risk appetite.
