We currently have a great opportunity for an Officer to join The Global Regulatory Reporting Operations Team within our Corporate & Institutional Bank (C&IB). This team was established in November 2014 to manage the operational activities associated with G20 regulatory obligations on behalf of the NAB Group.

The purpose of this role is to provide operational support to the C&IB division through the effective design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of regulatory reporting processes, procedures and controls.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Work effectively and collaboratively with all stakeholders, functions, divisions and business partners to pro-actively review work practices in order to identify and escalate tasks that are not efficient or effective.
  • Deliver regulatory reports for all regions accurately and on time.
  • To ensure that instructions, enquiries and queries are acted on efficiently, completely and in accordance with policy.
  • Help to develop and maintain a strong control framework that minimises operational risk within the Global Regulatory Reporting Operations Team
  • Ensure high service standards are maintained at all times particularly during periods of change and transition.
  • All responsibilities need to be carried out effectively as an operations team, with a true team mindset, in order to deliver timely and quality outcomes to cross-divisional stakeholders.

Your skills and experience:

  • Preferred experience in finance professional, ideally with a degree in Business and/or a background in Financial Markets Operations.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders with confidence.
  • Able to diligently and accurately deliver to a daily work cycle.
  • Able to work flexibly, handle competing deadlines under pressure and manage multiple tasks from different requestors
  • Knowledge of systems used across Markets Operations, e.g. Calypso, Infinity, TriResolve, ALGO and MUREX

Whilst your practical work experience within an Operations environment to date will impress, it will be your service focus, ability to work as part of a high performing team, proactive nature and desire to learn that will set you apart from the rest.
