We are looking for NSW\ACT Regional Sales & Business Development Manager in Eaton’s Electrical Business, based in Mascot, New South Wales, Australia. This role is accountable for the selling, pricing, product, place (distribution) & promotion of the product portfolio to ensure that the target dollar sales & margin is achieved within budgeted expense and inventory constraints.

The Sales Product Portfolio Currently Encompasses

  • All Power Systems Series products in NSW and ACT
  • Bussmann fuses for NSW and ACT utility customers
  • Eaton Indoor MV Switchgear for NSW and ACT utility customers


The role also includes taking the Technical, Marketing and Business Development lead within the Australia, New Zealand and Southern Pacific Islands team for Voltage Regulators, Surge Arresters and Synchronous Condensers.

Your Essential Responsibilities
  • Generate sales
  • Market the portfolio of Power Systems Series products into territory
  • Recommend & execute promotion initiatives
  • Leverage One Eaton opportunities
  • Provide technical and application support
  • Recommend pricing levels
  • Provide offers
  • Competitor Monitoring
  • Customer understanding
  • Recommend on & execute broad distribution channels arrangements
  • Exploit promotional opportunities that present
  • Liaise with suppliers\principles
  • Liaise with internal and overseas operations to improve customer satisfaction


If You Have
  • Third level qualifications in a commercial and/or a technical discipline are desirable.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in industrial product management or sales. Strong high voltage electrical engineering skills are required
  • Detailed product knowledge of voltage regulators, surge arresters & synchronous condensers would be particularly well regarded
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels within customer and the Eaton organizations important
