Job Summary

An exciting opportunity for a Senior BIM Manager - MEP to join our Buildings Services team in Sydney. Reporting to the Building Services Practice Leader, you will be a people-focused leader, who will manage the BIM aspects of our projects, from pursuit to planning and delivering.

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate will have proven experience, leading the digital delivery of building projects including documentation and data deliverables. You will coordinate resourcing for our projects and provide a technical overview of a project delivering including quality assurance on our models. You will have the ability to lead, mentor and coach team members to grow technical expertise and team management skills. You will also connect with the wider business within Australia and globally on technical excellence and contribute to technical standards and procedures.

Your proficiency in using Revit, BIM360 and other digital tools to deliver detailed design documentation coupled with your experience in working successfully across multidisciplinary teams across a variety of building projects will be highly regarded.

Experience

  • Extensive’ experience with BIM software in a building engineering environment
  • Experience of delivering MEP BIM Projects in Australia
  • Previous Project BIM Clash Detection and Coordination / Project Information Management experience
  • Experience working in a global organisation, working on projects across multiple offices


Minimum Requirements
  • Must be detail-oriented, consistent, and highly accurate in the work
  • Should have a thorough grasp of engineering modelling and principles.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills
  • Must have good communications skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, and written
  • Ability to set priorities in an efficient and timely manner to meet essential job functions.
  • Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be a self-starter
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly proficiency in the following software;
  • Autodesk Revit MEP
  • Navisworks Manage
  • Microsoft 365 (i.e., Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Proficiency in the following desirable;
  • Revizto
  • Autodesk Dynamo
  • ProjectWise
  • PowerBI
  • Related engineering analysis software
  • MEP parametric content creation


Preferred Qualifications

A diploma or trade certificate in the engineering discipline is desirable.
