The Opportunity & Team

We are inviting applications for an Administration Officer to join the Milk Supply team at our Tatura site. The role will provide high level customer service to Bega’s dairy farmer suppliers, and administrative assistance for the Milk Supply Services team.

Reporting to the Manager - Milk Operations North & East, the Administration Officer will be responsible for:

  • Providing high level administrative support in a timely manner including managing supplier enquiries, processing paperwork, onboarding suppliers, reporting and record keeping
  • Management of Purchase Orders and invoicing, including administrative tasks for inbound freight
  • Planning Milk Supply related events including field days, seminars, and end of year functions
  • Assisting to produce supplier newsletters and associated materials
  • MADCAP daily reconciliations of volume, composition and quality data and liaison with third parties as required for accuracy

The successful incumbent will be an excellent communicator, self-motivated and enjoy working autonomously. If you are organised, agile and have a passion for authentic customer service you will find this role highly rewarding.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in office administration or management, accounts and bookkeeping
  • Highly developed customer service skills
  • A high level of personal integrity and ethics to ensure strict confidentiality of all farmer supplier information
  • Microsoft Excel skills at an intermediate level
  • Efficient computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office suite
