Full Job Description
Beaumont&Beaumont has been engaged by a Commonwealth Government Department to engage multiple Project Officer at the APS4 and APS5.

In this role, you will be required to:
Assist in the delivery of a series of projects designed to supportthe Department's objective of promoting better practice risk management within the Australian Government.
Provide Secretariat services that includes coordination of meetings, briefings and correspondence.
Prepare and contribute to a range of internal and external communication material including: meeting correspondence, contract correspondence, executive minutes and external stakeholder communications (other Government entities).
Support a contract management function by liaising with consultants/ outsourced providers and undertaking minor procurements in line with the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines.
As required, liaise with key stakeholders including other Government entities.

You will also be required to:
Providing administrative and/or technical assistance and support to the team and Branch including Secretariat services to the Strategic Governance Committee Chief Risk Officer’s forum and Commonwealth Risk Managers Forum;
Contributing and supporting the effective management of key contracts across the Branch; and
Supporting the delivery of a range of risk management programs designed to promote better practice risk management.

We are looking for candidates who have:
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Relevant experience in business administration, project management and web administration.
Experience in contract management including liaising with consultants and outsourced providers and undertaking minor procurements in line with the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines
Sound communication skills, including an ability to prepare correspondence with attention to detail.
The ability to develop good working relationships and liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Ability to set priorities and work with minimal supervision.
Experience in risk management is desirable but not required.

Please note, it is a requirement that you are an Australian citizen and currently hold a Baseline Security Clearance.
