About the Role

Our Mining Area C’s Fixed Plant Maintenance Electrical team is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to manage planned and break-in support work across our fixed plant. The scope of the activities extend across the entire Mining Area C and South Flank footprints.

Based at our ‘Area C’ mine site you’ll be working on a 8 days on / 6 nights / 7 RR fly-in fly-out roster, or you can choose from an array of suitably aligned rosters, which we’ll happily discuss with you.

Our Area C mine is located approximately 120kms North West of Newman, West Australia. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court, beach volleyball court and recreation room including a pool table, darts, table tennis, TV and DVD player. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee, direct and coordinate allocated personnel to ensure all tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner
  • Have an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development
  • Lead a maintenance execution team and promote operating discipline related to the 1SAP work management processes
  • Ensure timely updates of resource work centre capacity data to enable effective scheduling
  • Ensure timely evaluation and scoping of work requests prior to approval for the work management planning process
  • Participate in the weekly pre-planning, planning and scheduling meetings to ensure alignment and commitment of resources to the work schedule
  • Ensure safe execution of maintenance work as per the signed of schedule
  • Manage the planning and execution of unplanned work and the re-scheduling of the existing work orders as required
  • Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure adherence to 1SAP processes and work instructions, and the entering of the relevant transactional data in 1SAP
About You

To be successful in this role you’ll possess:
  • WA Electrical Trade Licence or / relevant qualification within an equivalent industry and/or organisational experience or
  • Have an Electrical Engineering Degree with relevent experience
  • Valid Australian C class driver’s license
  • Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Experience with Hydraulic systems is preferred but not essential
  • Experience with structured work management processes preferred.
