Your new company
This small Government Organisation plays a central role in the development and operations of Australia's sports sector, building collaboration between other Government and private organisations. With an internal focus on driving integrated and user-centred corporate governance and services, this team is seeking a Project Advisor to provide holistic support within their organisation.

Your new role
Sitting within a corporate business team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of a contemporary government environment, with a focus on enhancing the delivery of strategic agendas. You will drive integrated planning and reporting processes, engage with stakeholders, and support broader projects of work. The duties of your role will include but are not limited to:
In consultation with team managers, implement the organisational strategic agenda to achieve section and business outcomes. This includes:

Contributing to the implementation of key governance priorities such as supporting delivery of the Corporate Plan, enhancement to performance reporting including dashboards, project reports and delivery of the Annual Report.
Providing specific technical, logistical and administrative support for key governance activities including complaint management, conflict of interest processes and compliance reporting.
Preparing briefings, reports and associated papers related to governance and business improvement work program topics.
Provide practical guidance and advice to divisional areas to improve the quality of organisational planning and reporting activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies, guidelines and other resources that deliver business outcomes
Establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with key internal and/or external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this position, you will be an established business and/or project manager with a track record of delivering high quality outcomes. On top of this, you will also have:

Tertiary qualifications in business, management, public policy or similar
Demonstrated experience leading and managing areas of corporate governance, strategic planning or risk management
Demonstrated capacity to provide timely, compelling and concise advice to inform executive members and senior management to support decision making.
An understanding or willingness to quickly learn Power BI business analytics software
