The Inventory Controller works with the Operations Manager to manage all aspects of warehouse inventory. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the businesses inventory to help ensure that the service levels are maintained as per the business KPI’s. and at the same time keeping costs to budgeted targets. Work in conjunction with Warehouse Manager to ensure inbound goods are put away and receipted in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for the supervision and development of the staff involved in inventory functions of the business
  • Manage receiving and put away of inbound stock including customer returns within KPI’s
  • Monitor backorders and address any that can be resolved with inbound or returned stock
  • Cycle count process including the management of the cycle count plan and tracker.
  • Correct processing of inventory adjustments
  • Lot blocking management and assist RAQA as required
  • Inventory management- receipt of stock, stock adjustments, obsolete stock and quarantine of unsaleable stock
  • Management of over label resupply process
  • Management of warehouse consumables and literature.
  • Handle and deal with customer enquiries/ complaints and ensure all enquiries are resolved.
  • Ensure all risks are managed with the risk management process
  • Ensure adherence to all standard company policies including WH&S regulations are adhered to by all staff within the warehouse.
  • At times will be required to manage pick ship operation
  • Strive to help the business achieve its Strategic Imperatives.
  • KPI Reporting as required
