We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator for an organisation in Perth's South East suburbs, approximately 40 minutes south of the CBD.

You'll be working with a supportive team, in a picturesque location. They are based in an environment that feels like a quaint country town, but close enough to Perth that you can drive to and from their offices each day.

This is a 12 month fixed term staff contract. That means on top of a competitive salary, you'll receive all leave benefits, as well as a vehicle, and free gym membership.

You'll be responsible for coordinating all facilities maintenance. When upgrades or maintenance works need to be completed, you'll coordinate all contractors on site, and make sure the work is done to contract standard. On time, and on budget.

You'll also look after longer-term facilities plans, including planning for future works and looking after the budgets for that work.

Put simply, you'll be the go-to person for all facilities matters for this organisation.

In Terms Of Your Background, You'll Ideally Have

  • Previous experience in a similar Facilities role
  • Strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and other relevant statutory requirements;
  • Demonstrated ability to direct and oversee contractors on site;
  • Well-developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Working knowledge of building maintenance practices;
  • Working knowledge of cost control, estimating and budgeting procedures;
  • Sound knowledge of relevant Western Australian Occupational Health and Safety legislation;
  • 'C' Class driver's licence;
  • Current Construction Induction White card.
