Within the Australian market the JLL Project & Development Services team provide development management, project planning, feasibility, procurement, design and construction management services to a premium client base across the commercial, retail, hotel, government, Defence and industrial property sectors.

As a result of business expansion wins we are now seeking Assistant Project Managers to join a leading practice that operates in each mainland capital of Australia as part of a coordinated national service offering.

What This Opportunity Involves-

We have two fantastic opportunities for highly motivated, bright and enthusiastic professionals to work onsite one of our Clients, a well-known national company. Both Assistant Project Managers – 1 x Permanent and 1 x a 6 month Fixed term contract

As Assistant Project Manager for FM project works, you will manage and implement Minor Works projects in a mix of Owned Properties and Leased Premises within the National Portfolio.

Snapshot of the role-

  • Coordination of minor works as delegated by the Minor Works Manager
  • Ensure works do not impede occupation and/or operation of the facility without appropriate client approval
  • Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site client’s expectations are met
  • Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process and provide financial data to the Minor Works Manager and Finance Manager as required
  • Seek ways to constantly reduce costs and improve operational standards

To be successful, you’ll be a motivated self-starter with a proven track record of successfully delivering best practice and quality to their client. You’ll be proactive with a keen eye for detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities.

You’ll demonstrate flexibility, an ability to adapt to ambiguous and sometimes stressful situations. Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of complex issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines will make you a star candidate! A degree in a relevant Project or Construction Management related discipline will be highly regarded.
