JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an excellent opportunity for a qualified paralegal or conveyancer to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional who loves what they do and embraces the challenges that come in working in a fast-paced environment. Our office practices in multiple areas of law, including property law, civil litigation, criminal law, wills and estates.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Preparing documents and correspondence, including Contracts of Sale, Section 32 Vendors' Statements, transfer documents and stamp duty forms;
Diary management and scheduling of critical dates;
Liaising with clients and professionals at all levels;
Basic administrative support and reception work;
Creating and maintaining client files;
Conducting online certificate searches; and
Preparing statement of adjustments.

The successful candidate will:

Be capable of working independently;
Provide exceptional client service;
Be able to independently manage files;
Be self-driven and motivated.
Experience with PEXA, Matter Centre, Duties Online and LEAP Legal Software will be highly regarded, but training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The role will provide you with invaluable training and ample opportunities to utilise, develop and enhance your skill set.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience and ability.

The current position will be for five days from 9:00am-5:30pm.
