Work Type: Permanent - Part Time

Permanent Part-time (22.8 hours per week)

Our Operations Services team is looking for a self- motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Contracts Officer Facilities Management.

In this role you will administer the Facilities Management contract management, performance management and administration of maintenance, minor works, goods and services contracts within established policy, procedures and legislative requirements of the position.

You will be responsible for:

  • Actively manage all aspects of team and contractor performance including development of performance measures and regular monitoring / reviews and implementation of improvements;
  • Manage and report on the activities and performance of contractors;
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Tertiary qualification in Building and Construction, Contract or Property Management or similar.
  • Hold a current unrestricted C class national driver’s licence.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • 5 or more years working within the construction industry and contract management, preferably in Local Government.
  • Sound knowledge and competence in the tender, contract management and administration processes used within Local Government.
  • Well-developed administration skills and ability to contribute to the development and implementation of documentation and procedures relating to contract management.

This permanent part-time Level 5 position attracts a salary range of $75,694 - $80,696 per annum pro-rata dependent on qualifications and experience. Working 22.8 hours per week, this role also offers you the flexibility of working up to a maximum of 38 ordinary hours per week.
