We have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate Marketing Executive to join our team based in North Sydney. You will assist with the planning and execution of all aspects of marketing campaigns by interpreting consumer trends, insights and sales data to develop consumer marketing strategies to connect books, stories and ideas to the widest possible audience across evolving platforms, channels, networks and media outlets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Devising consumer facing campaign strategies and overseeing implementation
  • Interpreting consumer trends, insights and sales data
  • Generating innovative ideas, using data, that connect readers with our books and authors
  • Briefing in advertising campaigns, including writing copy and briefing asset design
  • Devising and creating social media and digital content including for our edm
  • Working with the wider marketing and publicity teams in the planning and execution of campaigns
  • Monitoring campaign activity, pivoting as required and reporting periodically
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the market place and consumer behaviour and will be able to adapt and target campaigns to audiences. You will have previous experience planning, creating and executing campaigns across digital, social media and edm.

You will be highly organised, have a passion for performance driven marketing, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail and will enjoy developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
