Ongoing role with permanent potential

Your new company

Your new company are a Hobart based educational college that have invested heavily in its facilities and grounds in recent years. Because of this they are now in a position to recruit an additional team member to help do general groundskeeping duties on its spacious grounds.

Your new role

Day to day your role will involve general groundskeeping duties - mowing, whippersnippering, weeding, planting, maintaining hedges, footpaths and generally keeping the grounds in aesthetically pleasing conditioning and ensuring the plants thrive.

What you'll need to succeed

The selected candidate will have:
Demonstrable employment experience within landscaping or groundskeeping
White card
Working with Vulnerable People card
Able to work within a team but also independently
Available relevant recent references
Be willing to complete the Hays Recruitment online employment documents and inductions that are necessary to become an employee, including an online timesheet each week

What you'll get in return

My client will provide an induction during your first week of work - this will involve taking you through their processes and expectations and answer any questions you may have on the role so you feel comfortable and confident. You will be provided with all necessary tools to do the job. You will have a weekly pay cycle and superfund contributions.
