About the role and team

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join our General Insurance team in Sydney with specific focus on marine insurance and transport matters. You will get involved in matters across a broad spectrum of defendant insurance including marine & transport, property damage liability claims and professional indemnity. You will be responsible for your own files, with appropriate learning and supervision.

The Sydney General Insurance team has approximately 31 people and this role will have the opportunity to work closely with partners and other team members.

Skills and experience

  • 2-4 years post admission experience.
  • Experience in defendant liability, professional indemnity, property damage or marine & transport.
  • Clear, concise legal writing skills required with an attention to detail.
