The Role
  • 2x Continuing, Part Time - 18.75 hours per week (preferred) or 1x Continuing, Full Time (considered)
  • Level B - $97,910 to $116,171 FTE (plus 17% superannuation)

We are currently seeking experienced Medical Scientists with current clinical and industry experience to deliver high quality teaching and engage in relevant and impactful research.

Candidates with experience in haematology, pathology, immunology, cell biology, molecular biology and/ or microbiology are encouraged to apply. Recent professional clinical experience, experience in online education delivery and teaching in an AIMS accredited course is highly desirable.

This position would ideally suit an individual currently working in industry who would like to commence or further develop their academic career. To be successful you will have:
  • A doctoral or masters qualification relevant to Medical Science or equivalent accreditation and standing
  • A record of research or professional activity relevant to the discipline that demonstrates a capacity to make an autonomous contribution
  • Commitment to the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the discipline gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar
