JOB DESCRIPTION

Support the execution of transactions, development of marketing materials and work with analysts within the real estate team. This market-leading team works with leading real estate companies and has recently advised and financed a number of key transactions. The team has a strong pipeline and offers you the opportunity to develop your execution and client coverage capabilities across broad product areas including equity, M&A and financing. Key elements of the role include:-

Plays an integral role in supporting new business development, due diligence, and/or transaction execution

Independently performs tasks assigned and managed by senior staff, including drafting internal and external documents and marketing materials, executing transactions, as well as working with clients, lawyers, investors, interested parties and/or other senior professionals on a day-to-day basis.

Analysis: Performing valuations, financial modelling, credit, capital structure and financial returns analysis

Mentor and develop the analysts in the team.

Communications: Preparing and presenting materials for boards of directors, management teams, internal review committees and solicitations (pitches)

Qualifications

Mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions

Multi-tasking with strong attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to liaise with colleagues and clients at all levels

Excellent PC skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Factset and IRESS

Positive ‘can do’ attitude and solid work ethic

Ability to exercise good judgement working in a highly pressurised and time sensitive environment

Strong financial services and / or industry experience with a track record in executing deals. Prior real estate experience would be valuable
