Provide nursing/midwifery team support and undertake the nursing/midwifery care under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse/registered midwife to support consumer/person centred care.

About The Role

  • Assist in the provision of nursing and midwifery team support and undertake delegated actions in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Decision Making Framework.
  • Respond appropriately and report sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/person to the Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife.
  • Function in accordance with legislation when undertaking activities as delegated to provide an environment and care that is safe and relevant for individuals and groups.
