Period of employment / Hours:
Fixed term part-time day work (45.6 hours per fortnight) commencing ASAP and concluding 30 June 2023.

Clinical Quality, Regulation and Accreditation - Statewide

Duties:
Develop, implement and evaluate communication, marketing and engagement activities and projects for the Tasmanian Rural Generalist Pathway utilising a broad range of technologies.
Provide a media service including liaison with journalists, staff, and the Department’s Communications office. Prepare media releases and coordinate media events, including assisting with the annual Tasmanian Rural Health Conference.
Coordinate and promote the Tasmanian Rural Generalist Pathway and its activities through a range of communication media, including the preparation, quality assurance and clearance of published material and manage the online presence of the Tasmanian Rural Generalist Pathway.
Coordinate the delivery of communication and stakeholder engagement activities by internal and external collaborators and contractors.
Create strong communication networks across the Tasmanian Rural Generalist Pathway, including working with the Collaborative Group, and stakeholders to promote awareness of opportunities, initiatives and activities relating to marketing and communicating information about the Tasmanian Rural Generalist Pathway.

Desirable Requirements:
Current Driver’s Licence
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Experience working in a health environment
Knowledge and understanding of rural health issues

Essential Requirements:
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
