Your new company
We are currently partnered with a leading state department on their search to find a Risk Advisor to join their team for an initial 6 month period with an immediate start.

Your new role
Being a key team member of the Project Controls Team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing advice to Project Managers and other team members to minimise risks by helping to identify and assess in accordance with standards and requirements
  • Assisting with designing and facilitating risk workshops and delivering risk education to internal personnel
  • Providing support ins coordinating the risk management processes in accordance with standards and procedures
  • Assisting with supporting the Risk Management Program to ensure compliance with AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management, Rail Safety Act 2010 and other relevant standards
  • Managing and maintain risk management documentation and databases
  • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure risk management throughout delivery of projects

What you'll need to succeed

  • Significant experience in contemporary risk management on projects
  • Proven experience in risk management including auditing strategies and practices
  • Understanding of AS/NZS ISO31000:2018
  • Well developed communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders in assisting with risk management

You will also be subject to a pre-employment medical assessment and police clearance.
