We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Advisor to join our Sydney CBD based P&C team.

Your new role

This role is ideal for an energetic person with experience in recruitment and human resources who has a genuine passion for people. We are looking to expand the team with a new People and Culture Advisor position on a full-time, permanent basis. The role reports into the P&C Business Partner and will join our existing team of 3 and be based at our Sydney CBD Head Office. This is a great opportunity for a contemporary Human Resources Professional to contribute to making a significant impact in this business.

Key Activities:

  • Providing high quality end to end recruitment processes including sourcing, adverts, selection support, offer of employment and initial onboarding.
  • Coaching and supporting leaders to improve their own performance & effectiveness as well as that of their teams.
  • Advising, supporting, and coaching leaders on employee relations matters, performance management, compliance, change management, and capability development.
  • Building collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting leaders and employees to help interpret legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Participating in and contributing to P&C projects as required.
  • Ensuring HR practices are compliant with relevant legislative requirements, the organisation's policies, procedures, and values.

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 5 years’ experience in human resource management
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR/Business Management/Social Sciences
  • Previous end-to-end recruitment experience in either an agency or in-house role
  • Able to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and is a trusted advisor to the business
  • A current and practical working knowledge of employment-related legislation and application of P&C best practice
  • Ability to multi-task competing priorities with excellent time management skills
  • An open and flexible mindset to get involved when needed as part of a collaborative team
  • A strong desire for results and solutions across all parties
  • Professional, friendly and personable
  • Adopts a very hands-on approach
  • A genuine interest and passion for helping people
