Our client, Mitchell Plastic Welding (MPW) is a highly successful and growing Tasmanian company specialising in manufacturing, plastic fabrication and repair capabilities to the Aquaculture, Industrial and Agricultural Irrigation sectors in Tasmania, mainland Australia and overseas. Based in Castle Forbes Bay in the beautiful Huon Valley they specialise in High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) products and have an ever expanding need for their expertise and products that has resulted in production and employee growth as new clients and workloads increase. Due to the continued growth of the business, MPW have created a new Training Coordinator role reporting to the General Manager. The Training Coordinator will work in conjunction with key MPW internal stakeholders, staff and Registered Training Organisations to develop a fully integrated training program that can be delivered internally and supported across the business group.

The Training Coordinator will be charged with building strong and genuine staff relationships, mentoring, motivating, and coaching employees ensuring formal training is put into practice in the work environment.

To be successful you must exhibit the following skills and qualifications:

Certificate IV Training and Assessment in training and assessment
Prior experience working as a training assessor
Experience in delivering accredited and non-accredited training
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).

Experience or background in an engineering, trade and/or manufacturing environment.
