As one of the most reputable private hospital groups in the state, our client is an exceptionally innovative and successful provider of a range of healthcare services, including Cardiovascular, Obs & Gyn, Maternity, Urology, Cancer Care, Endocrinology, Cosmetic Surgery plus much more. As part of their commitment to provide incomparable care to patients, this role is within their specialised Breast Clinic, which operates from their stunning coastal hospital an hours drive from Brisbane.

Providing cutting edge specialist and diagnostic services, the Breast Clinic is a purpose built facility designed for the specialised care of female and male patients with breast related conditions. As the Director, you will be responsible for the operational management and clinical leadership of the service. You will manage a dedicated team of mammographers, radiographers, nurses, medical support staff and admin staff, ensuring optimal running of the clinic in the provision of all services.

  • Minimum 5-6 years as a Medical Practitioner in a similar environment & full AHPRA registration.
  • Post grad qualifications in Breast Medicine or similar highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated operational and clinical leadership skills, with experience and aptitude in fine needle aspiration, diagnostic imaging interpretation, core biopsy and pre-op localisation procedures.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, ability to liaise successfully with internal/external stakeholders and manage change processes.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding of national Safety and Quality standards and keen focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and service delivery as per the organisations ethos and strategic direction.
