JOB DESCRIPTION

The Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Specialist plays a key role responsible for delivering great customer experiences through testing and experimentation, ensuring our CRO strategy and plans are brought to life through engaging digital experiences. With a customer first lens, the CRO Specialist will optimise user journeys with a view to improve customer acquisition, retention and engagement goals.

Working with detailed online and offline data sets, the CRO Specialist will execute a roadmap of experiments to optimise conversion rates and customer experience journeys across web and app.

The insights gathered from the CRO Specialist testing activities will support a range of performance optimisation activities, website improvements, marketing campaigns, and customer experience enhancements across all digital channels.

Your responsibilties

  • Execution of the strategy, roadmap and experimentation plans for the CRO program of work including;
    • Execution of A/B and multivariate testing including planning, idea management, testing, optimisation, reporting and forecasting
    • Setting up and executing A/B tests, using Adobe Target, to optimise sales funnels and customer experience journeys across multiple channels
    • Working with the Digital Analyst to analyse performance data, metrics, and make decisions based on the analysis
    • Proactive optimisation of the user journey and taking action to deliver on key metrics and KPIs, through continuous website testing and user experience improvements
    • Create and execute experiments that help inform the ideal experiences for users
    • Support the Digital Journey Optimisation Manager in the development of test plans and CRO roadmap initiatives
    • Continual evaluation and improvement of the effectiveness of campaigns through data-driven insights and KPI focused analysis
    • Share results and insights to inform business decisions and the overall roadmap
  • Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to understand the end-to-end customer journey and make recommendations regarding website design and user experience
  • Work closely with the Growth and Insights Team, the broader Digital teams as well as agency partners to identify, explore and execute key areas for optimisation

Your capabilities

  • Minimum 2 years of CRO experience working across client and/or agency side
  • Strong experience with testing platforms, ideally Adobe Target
  • Data driven background, with an understanding of web analytic tools to analyse the customer journey and identify opportunities for improvement (Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics)
  • Hands on experience with customer behaviour platforms (Insightech, Hotjar, CrazyEgg, etc)
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript languages
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Understanding of how to create compelling and engaging user experiences on the web, with knowledge of usability and conversion drivers
  • Tracking and tagging experience using Adobe Launch along with experience using Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Experience Manager is a plus
