About the Company:

Prom Country Aged Care is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager for a unique opportunity to oversee the clinical services within their medium-sized aged care residence. They are a community-based NFP residential aged care service in beautiful Foster. Located just 2 hours Southeast of Melbourne and surrounded by spectacular views, water, and national parks.

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will ensure the smooth running of the facility day to day. Your responsibilities encompass all clinical care and oversight. Supported by a Quality Coordinator, ACFI, Senior RN's, and strong care team. 
Oversee the clinical operations of the facility and ensure that it is focused on each individual need of the residents. Educate staff to deliver that care and update care plans. Work collaboratively with the CEO to develop and implement new policies and procedures. Work towards quality improvement and meet and exceed industry standards.

The Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years aged care management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and experience with accreditations required.
  • Experience with recruitment and knowledge of HR legislation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ACFI and auditing.
  • Superior communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised and an ability to use and set up systems
  • Experience in managing/mentoring care staff and success in managing change.
