About the role

An great opportunity is now available within the Midstream Production Operations team for a Campaign Leader position. Reporting to the Campaign Team Lead, the primarily accountability for the role is to steward the safe and efficient delivery of strategic maintenance campaigns for our Midstream assets.


The role will also be involved in coordinating all services, materials and logistics that support effective campaign execution as well as developing campaign opportunities and alignment of work based on the premise of minimising downtime.


Accountabilities are delivered in-line with the Santos company values. Key responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to):


  • Ensuring robust interfaces are maintained with all relevant stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of maintenance campaign delivery
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to campaign maintenance either by area, specific trade or services provision or aligning opportunities with other event or overhaul works
  • Ensuring that the campaign ownership, methodology and objectives are clearly defined, understood and agreed by all stakeholders
  • Stewarding the readiness process to ensure that all gating requirements are met, and adequate monitoring is in place
  • Exerting your influence to ensure the required service levels are delivered from support groups
  • Taking action to resolve and mitigate any issues impacting upon campaign maintenance delivery


About you

The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in a technical area coupled with experience in operations / maintenance / reliability management in a chemical/hydrocarbon plant environment. 


To be successful in this role you will bring a sound understanding in application of project management methodologies within a resource and asset intensive industry with an ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Experience in Asset / Maintenance management tools such as Oracle eAM, SAP, etc would be advantageous.
