The Client Services Director (CSD) – Adobe is responsible for delivering a first-class client experience in line with WE’s purpose driven methodology across the entire breadth of integrated work undertaken for the client.

The CSD is the central point of contact for the client and agency alike, managing workflow across specialist teams in Strategy, Creative, Digital Experience & Technology (DXT) and PR to deliver integrated strategies and programs. A T-Shaped person with experience across PR, content marketing and creative, the CSD will play a role in developing integrated programs in line with the client’s objectives, and is able to look beyond a client’s immediate needs to pre-empt problems and deliver a seamless client experience.

This is full time permanent position based in our Sydney office.

The ideal candidate is a relationship management expert, an experienced leader and someone who thrives on connecting people and ideas to drive ROI.

Job Functions

  • Managing the seamless delivery of all integrated projects, you are the central point of contact for the client and the agency on these projects and will be aware of all elements, their status and what needs to be done to move a project forward;
  • Manage the workflow and project manage the specialist teams, ensuring that deliverables are delivered in line with the client brief, on time and to budget;
  • Translator between client and experts (PR, content marketing, creative, strategy);
  • Oversee and manage project finances, budgets and timelines, as well as integrated campaign reporting. Effectively engage relevant specialists/external partners to produce these reports;
  • Provide high level, well considered counsel to your clients, managing their expectations and delivering to their brief (in conjunction with specialist teams);
  • Clearly identify threats and opportunities for your clients; address and manage any issues proactively for your clients as they arise; and
  • Keep abreast of key industry trends and competitors and think about how it can apply to our campaigns.

Minimum/Preferred Requirements

  • Strong integrated experience, especially working in a creative or marcomms agency ideally with 10+ years’ experience.
  • Proven success in establishing relationships, being a high bandwidth communicator, with a track record of excellent collaboration.
  • Managing large scale, integrated projects.
  • Exceptional track record of building portfolios/businesses, best in class professional reputation, and proven financial management expertise.
  • A successful track record for managing complex integrated projects.
  • Excellent client facing skills with the ability to forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrates proactivity, initiative and resourcefulness.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and delegate effectively.
  • Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to make things happen and provide an exceptional client experience.
  • Excellent computer and presentation skills – confident with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
