About the role

FIXED TERM CONTRACT (12 MONTHS) - SEVERAL POSITIONS

We're looking for a passionate person who can develop positive relationships with our Support Workers, our clients and the rest of our team. There is an opportunity for permanent position at end of contract. You will be responsible for:

  • Must have the ability to work across a 7 day roster - occasional Saturday and Sunday daytime shifts.
  • Managing all roster queries, urgent shift change requests and filling vacant shifts. 
  • Liaising with the Team Leader and Client Relations Officers about resourcing issues as they arise
  • Monitoring hours to ensure that employees are working within Award and legal obligations.
  • Regular telephone and email communication with clients, staff and agencies.

To be successful in the role you will have  

  • A genuine interest in disability services and a commitment to making a difference to the lives of our clients 
  • Previous scheduling / rostering experience (desirable) or extensive customer/client service experience 
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and Support Workers
  • A strong ability to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to handle sensitive client matters discretely, display empathy and maintain confidentiality

You will be required to hold or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
