The Opportunity 

We have an opportunity for an APS6 Program Officer to join a federal government agency and support the operations team within the Nursing Programs and Operations Section in Brisbane CBD.

This role will commence ASAP and will initially be until June 2021 with a possible extension.

The Role

The Program Officer is a high performing role within the operations team and will be responsible for; 

  • Provider queries and approvals
  • Processing exceptional cases
  • Complex case management 
  • Management of the NEMS maintenance (bespoke IT system for processing cases) 
  • CN audits 
  • Management of complaints 
  • Develop and maintain FAQ's and SOPs
  • Clinical advisor relationship management 

To Be Successful 

We are looking for applicants with; 

  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to pick up complexities and navigate systems in the management of complex cases, enquiries, complaints and audits
  • Ability to prepare professional documentation 
  • Experience within the public service sector would be desirable
