The RAA is commencing a substantial investment in business and IT transformation, designed to support newly approved business strategy aimed at delivering world class Member value and experience with our services. The first and arguably most critical program in the transformation is a new Membership Platform (CRM) that will be fully integrated into the RAA’s line of business systems across Insurance, Travel and Motoring Services.


The Program Director – Membership Platform Program will have accountability for the successful delivery of the new Membership (CRM) Platform, including detailed design and project implementation to agreed targets. 


The Program Director will collaborate closely with business and technology leads, as well as lead a team of Project Managers and a significant program resource pool, alongside a chosen delivery partner. They will provide overall direction to delivery activities consistent with RAA projects execution standards and methods. They will work closely with the Program Board and Portfolio Steering Committee comprised of key RAA executives and be responsible for ensuring high levels of program discipline including cost, schedule, risk and issues controls.


Therefore, executive level leadership, stakeholder engagement, negotiation and vendor management skills are essential to fulfil this position. Additionally, substantial experience directing the delivery of transformational CRM or ERP implementations in large and complex organisations is essential.


In order to attract the very best candidate, the mode of engagement (salaried, fixed term or contracting) is negotiable. It is envisaged the program will take between 18 months and two years to deliver.
