JOB DESCRIPTION

I am looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help customers install applications and programs.

Technical Support Engineer responsibilities include pre-sales/post-sales, technical training, resolving issues, and being the voice of the customer and providing immediate support. You will have experience using email and chat applications to give clients quick answers to simple IT issues.

For more complex problems that require nuanced instruction, you will contact clients via phone and/or provide clear, written instructions and technical manuals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Technical Consultant
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems
  • Experience with various operating systems and databases
  • iOS and/or Android experience is a must
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
  • A team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Java development skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • BSc/BA in computer science, IT or relevant field; MSc/MBA in business will be a plus
