The Role

Seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the Payroll team in our Subiaco Head Office on a part time basis working 3-days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

This position is responsible for performing all activities necessary to assist the payroll team with payroll. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and is flexible and proactive in their work style.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist payroll team with weekly and monthly payroll processes using Micropay/ Pay Global and TimeTarget;
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changes;
  • Process and maintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations;
  • Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies;
  • Assist in processing superannuation contributions, PAYG, state payroll tax and compliances;
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operations;
  • Liaise with, and support the HR and Finance teams;
  • Work closely with Payroll Manager to improve data capture and processing efficiencies within payroll;

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Payroll Processing
  • Experience with Micropay/ Pay Global or TimeTarget (Favourable)
  • Experience working with Enterprise Agreements is an advantage
  • Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on team work
  • A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft application skills
