We are seeking to fill a specialist position on a temporary full time basis for an initial period of 12 months. This position would perfectly suit someone who has experience working with trust and companies cases across new claims, reviews and debt management.
The Role and Responsibilities
This specialist role will work across a variety of teams within Income Support. Trust and Companies cases are seen in new claims for pensions, reviews of pensions and debt management cases.
This role will work with all other teams, providing advice, processing and assisting to develop new procedures for any cases involving clients involvement in Trusts and Companies, with the primary aim of ensuring DVA Service Pensions (Age Service Pension, Partner Service Pension, Invalidity Service Pension) are paid accurately. Information is gathered from clients contacting the Department, or DVA requesting information from clients.

About You
Effective communication and the ability to build positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role.

In addition, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in using procedures and systems to make sound decisions
  • The ability to undertake research to inform evidence-based decision making
