HR Project Manager

How will I help?

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Project Manager to join our collegiate HR team and work on one of the most significant transformation programs that Westpac Group has undertaken.

The CORE Program is our comprehensive, Group-wide transformation program to improve Customer Outcomes and Risk Excellence (CORE) and strengthen the management of risk across the group. The HR Project Manager role will support one of CORE’s workstreams, which relates to Organisational Design and sit as part of the Human Resources function. This workstream has been established to ensure that Westpac’s organisational design is aligned to the Group’s strategy, drives clear accountability for risk and supports robust decision making.

This role will partner with key stakeholders across the Group to support the implementation of a new role framework to support the way employees understand their accountability for risk. In particular this role will support the mapping of current roles into the new framework, and the development of the implementation approach and drive emplyee engagement. This role will also provide HR support in the production of employee communications and change material (in conjunction with Communications) to support enterprise rollout.

This role is a 12-18 month contract initially and is either full-time or part-time for the right candidate. This role is based in Sydney but we are welcoming candidates from across Australia to apply as the role can be done remotely.

What do I need?

We would love to hear from HR Professionals with strong organisational design and change management experience. Your experience could have been gained either working in an HR function or as a management consultant, advising clients on change and OD initiatives.

You will ideally have supported large scale HR and OD projects in a large, complex and commercial environment. You will have the ability to achieve objectives in a changing, ambiguous environment.
