The Role

Experienced Quality Assurance (QA /QC) Manager who is skilled at being out in the field supporting the business in the practical application of QA Management practices and procedures to both prevent workplace injury and to drive continuous improvement across our project site based on the Worsley Alumina Site site in Bunbury WA.

The QA Manager will coordinate the development, review, and delivery of Structural Systems Integrated Management System.

This role closely engages with all stakeholders to ensure a proactive and committed approach in achieving high Safety, Quality & Environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• The preparation of the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions
• Work closely with the Operational Superintendents to ensure success.
• Control and the distribution of all the company’s quality documentation
• Monitor all quality related disciplines on the project
• Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company’s management
• Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
• Attend meetings as directed or required.
• Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.
• Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customers representatives.
• Action and close all client issues and requirements.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a similar role (Must)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Current valid drivers license
