Recognised as one of Western Australia’s most iconic agribusinesses, our client is a trusted supplier to the commercial sheep, beef and dairy production sectors. Due to continued growth in these key markets, they are wishing to appoint a highly motivated sales professional who possesses a functional understanding of ruminant nutrition. With increased manufacturing capabilities scheduled to take advantage of market growth at their locally owned and well situated production facilities, this role will be a key driver in the business’s future success. The role will manage end user, on-farm relationships with established customers whilst mentoring a support team.
About The Role

Reporting into the Group General Manager, the Sales Manager will be responsible for key account management of existing customers, acquiring new customers and working closely with their production and logistics teams to ensure customer success is driven by the whole team. Working across species and managing nutritional based relationships with customers, the business takes a whole farm production approach to product advice given. With the ability to tailor feed solutions to ensure their clients are receiving considered and coordinated production/nutritional advice, the success of the business has been to drive productivity and cost-effective feed solutions for their customers.
Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have relevant sales experience in an agribusiness/commercial role and will be able to demonstrate a functional understanding of ruminant nutrition and an understanding of supplementary feeding within a commercial enterprise. Regardless of your agribusiness specific industry experience (beef/dairy or sheep), you will be able to demonstrate strong relationship management and commercial sales experience from previous or current roles. Having a proven ability to manage teams would be looked at favourably. To be considered for this opportunity, you will be a self-driven individual; able to work independently with well-developed both written and verbal communication skills. Experience in digital sales and marketing strategy execution, will be highly regarded.
