About the role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your career, and play a key part in Viva Energy’s Internal Audit function. In this role, we can offer the opportunity to work in an agile and welcoming team environment. You will add value and improve our operations by bringing an innovative, targeted and dynamic approach to the effectiveness of risk management, controls, and governance processes. You will have experience running company-wide internal audit plans, and be familiar with recent trends, tools and solutions in delivering internal audit services. Recent experience or training at a big four accounting firm will be favoured. In this role you will report to the Head of Legal and Internal Audit. You will support the full audit cycle and the risk management process and reporting, and will help design the annual internal audit plan. As well as having responsibility for conducting in-house internal audits, you will work with external service providers and assist them in the efficient and effective scoping, delivery and reporting on audit projects. You will manage outcomes of audit projects and ensure comprehensive follow-up of audit actions.

About you

Having a background as an Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor, you will have the ability to understand and process a wide range of data and have experience in compiling detailed reports. You will have proven knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules and regulations. You will have a high attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and have confidence and experience in providing sound independent judgement. Chartered Accountant qualifications desirable.
