Reporting to the General Manager – Enterprise Risk & Internal Audit, could you be our next Senior Enterprise Risk Business Partner?

About the role

  • As a key member of V/Line’s Enterprise Risk and Internal Audit function you will partner with business to provide enterprise risk management to support delivery of strategic priorities and corporate initiatives.
  • You will also be responsible for driving and facilitating risk management activities through ongoing development, evolution and maintenance of V/Line’s Enterprise Risk Profile.
  • You will be providing opinion and recommendation to V/Line’s senior leadership team on the health and performance of the control environment as well as analysis of key risk indicators and data to update and report on material operational risks.
  • You will also work closely with the GM – Enterprise Risk & Internal Audit to ensure V/Line’s Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Frameworks, supporting processes and tools continue to be fit for purpose and aligned with Government and Industry Standards.

About you

  • You will have a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business with post graduate qualifications in a related field is desirable.
  • You will have at least 3 to 5 years’ demonstrated experience in delivering high quality outcomes focused risk management, preferably in an operational or cross functional environment.
  • Your hands-on approach in developing and delivering engaging reports to Senior Management and the Board to support risk-based outcomes will be a pivotal component of this role.
  • You will be proactive in relationship management across multiple business function stakeholders.
  • Your ability to strive for outcomes through providing opinion and recommendations on risk will play an integral part in this role.
  • You are an excellent communicator partnered with an ability to summarise complex issues into easy consumable reports and your attention to detail will set you up for success.
