St Peters is a School of the Lutheran Church with a mission of Excellence in Christian Co-education ensuring Every Child Learns, Every Day.

Our Information Technology Services team are integral to the successful operation of our College both for our core service of student learning and as a large organisation with a diverse workforce.

We are seeking a motivated and highly experienced Director, Information Technology Services to join our College. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this position holds a critical role in providing strategic and operational technology leadership with a strong focus on governance, customer centricity and service delivery. Key to the success of this role is a breadth of experience in leading change, managing information infrastructure and services, the ability to balance strategic and operational priorities and creating value through effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology/Systems or related discipline or combination of training and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated strategic and operational technology knowledge and leadership in mid-senior Information Technology Services positions in a complex environment
  • Experience in leading medium size teams enabling them to create value through their services and ensuring optimum performance.
  • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to create sustainable, cost effective and practical IT solutions for our staff and students
  • Demonstrated experience with governance, planning and management and the ability to operationalise these through and with an ITS team
  • Proven effective management, leadership and team building skills and genuine interest in collaboration and joint problem solving.
  • Strong understanding of risk, governance, IT policy framework and people management best practice
